@GrumpyGlowfish I have awoken from my slumber LOL, so will load my game while sipping on my morning coffee and test this apple theory for you. I thought of planting an apple tree, harvesting it and trying those apples, and then thought of getting fruit seed packets and seeing if I can feed those apples, then of course what worked already keep on harvesting prairie grass and feed those apples ;)
I could handfeed the fruits I received from opening seedpackets my sim purchased, I could handfeed apples that was harvested from her apple tree she planted and I could handfeed the carrots that were found while harvesting the prairie grass on her lot. I did these test with prairie grass in the inventory to see if it overrides the fruit, but it did not :) I hope you can find out why your's is not working. Here are screenshots of my results ;)
