So...the Winterfest holiday came round in my game and marked one Sim year since little Winterfest joined the Orphans household. I figured this was a good time for her to age up and I was excited to see what she would look like as an adult horse. Aannnd...

She's a beautiful mare!
She immediately went for a run across the corral, so the kids went out to be with her where she had more space.
But now they all have to learn how to ride.
Finally, here's Winterfest with the tack I chose for her in light gray, and a bow on her tail because I think the kids would have wanted that.
So far, she's a very sweet-tempered mare, like her mother. ❤️

I love to play this household in the holiday season. The orphanage farm becomes a very celebratory place. They do a visitor day for donations where guests can meet and pet the animals, the kids dress up in matching holiday outfits - even pajamas, and decorations go up everywhere, including treats, and they invite other children to come over to play. Even the orphanage matron dresses up, and when Father Winter comes, they all exchange gifts and sneak presents. One year, the matron surprised one of the girls with an official adoption to become her mom so she could stay as family because the girl had bonded so closely with the matron and her daughter.
Now there's only one child available for adoption - a toddler who is the secret son and heir of Judith Ward. (Gasp! Scandal! 😁)
