Since the sims game is getting older, it would be nice to have more effects to show sims getting older. I'd like some updates to hair colours so that we can have a partially grey tone for each current colour, to show sims getting older before they go totally grey. And more wrinkle options.
Good idea about elders :) I rarely focus that much on the wrinkles (although I do have a strategy on how to make the A to E more seamless). But I really think it's on time very old sims no longer looks like they are 65. I have sims pushing 100 years old, and they practically move as if age was the smallest worry in their lives. Walking cane and slightly crooked body ticking in at 90 would be superb! Perhaps no longer walking stairs, too?

That's funny. Elder Sims look ancient to me. I'm in my sixties, and I don't think I look that old. I don't walk hunched over either.
My Mom is 91. She looks more like the Sims elders to me. She doesn't walk up the stairs because she broke her hip a few years ago. But several of her cousins still do.
I don't think it's age so much as health that makes a difference.

My elder sims are 70 years and up. I just would like there to be a way to tell a difference from a sim aged 70 and a sim aged 100 :) If you dye an elders hair and add some makeup they will look pretty good. Or if you add *too much* make up they might look even older. just like in real life. It's quite easy to alter their looks because we mostly need to add those wrinkles in CAS. I think their activities and range of movements is what bothers me the most. I don't know many 100 yo persons climbing a rock or riding a horse. But in ts4 this can be done (with only a slight chance of over-exhausted).
Either way, I doubt we'll get this for this anniversary ;)

That is true. You usually don't go rock climbing for sure. Though my grandfather beat us all to the top of Mt. Mitchell in his 80's. He was a thin, wiry sort who was active til his very last days. But he was unusual.
I think it would be good to have elders more customizable, so you can have the super healthy along with the not so healthy. My Dad's family tends toward heart problems. He died in his sixties. My Mom's family has several cousins who have lived past 100. They tend to be active until maybe the last year or two.
