Agreed 100%.
I don't want overkill textures, but I do want a more realistic artstyle and less lego-like polished looking hair. I think sims medieval artstyle was onto something, if they could improve a little onto it, the game would look fly.
I agree The Sims Medieval was awesome,I loved the Arts style. This is what we need, with cleaner a edge, maybe a mix with Sims Olympus Alpha Art style, it was actually more realistic than the final S4, just like TS2 Alpha. I hope this is the next Sims iteration, I have hope for the Sims 4, because I love the Art style, but there is nothing to do in this game. I wish the Sims 5, or "The Sims" has a picnic basket, and blanket, and a real Tea set, and I'll be good. Not too realistic graphics, with stringy crypt keeper hair like the Sims 2, and 3.
