I'm up for any new TS series, but, I would feel incomplete. I would rather give lots of enhancement or features to TS4 first, before moving on to a new TS, until the developers feel that, it is time to move on to a new game which is way better and replaceable (which means, there is no regret for players to transition from TS4 to TS5. It will be selfish to leave the TS4 in the current states, without leaving the players a sense of satisfaction, albeit it is very subjective. It's totally fine working on the timeline for the new game, because I'm pretty sure it takes lots of time & careful planning, but it should not make the player feel the need to not enjoying the current game, just because we're expecting something new in the future.
Whatever this game is, it’s not going to be released for a long time. TS4 has a 3 year plan, so it’s getting new stuff for at least that amount of time.
I hope so, because I recently started to play TS4 after a long break from playing TS, and it makes me feel so excited as if like I'm getting a new toy. The talk of developing TS5 (although, I know that it is important & critical to have it in the plan, especially for this franchise), makes me feel like I'm buying the 'obsolete' product, though it is still relevant & needs a lot of improvement in comparison to the predecessors. I would like to stay positive & excited while enjoying the current game despite the lack of features, bugs, etc. I hope that EA would make use of their '3-year plan' so that the players will always get excited for whatever new or direction this franchise will take in the future. Perhaps, the 'transparency' & engagement needs to be improved, so that the players will always stay informed & critical in expressing their feedback for the game development.
