@EA_Cade here and welcome all to the AHQ Highlights and Recap for the month of June! How on earth is it already July? It'll be Simsmas before you know it, and soon after I'll be typing the wrong year for a solid month again 😖
This month we're happy to have rolled out Happy at Home, our very first login event for The Sims 4, as well as showcase some new and exciting content coming later this month with the next EP Lovestruck. You can catch the trailer here if you missed it, preorders are now live as well if you want to grab that exclusive content.

This month's news and announcements:
- On the 13th, our first ever Sims 4 Event, Happy at Home, went live! This event included 8 different login rewards which included new Build items, a hairstyle, and a brand new trait. For more details on how these different limited time events will work, be sure to check out the article here.
- On the 17th, we celebrated an incredible 50k member milestone in The Sims Discord by giving away 50 expansion pack codes 🥳 And if you haven't yet, you'll definitely want to join the official Discord here to avoid missing out on all the fun.
- And finally, on the 27th, the newest expansion Lovestruck was announced! This romantic EP will be available to play on July 25th, and preorders are now live here. Be sure to cozy up with the article here for more details on this pack!
Patches and updates:
- On the 6th, the newest base game update was released which addressed some issues with the Happy at Home Login Event rewards and a crash reported by players using the DirectX 11 Preview. Make sure you have a look at the patch notes here for more details on all the fixes included!
Notable threads:
- If you're not already excited enough for the new pack, then maybe you'll want to join in on @simgirl1010's Lovestruck discussion thread to chat all about the new world Ciudad Enamorada, Build/Buy items (I need that Herbert Heart plushy) and gameplay features. So what exciting new things from the trailer stuck out most to you, and what are you most excited about? Be sure to tell us what's got you hyped!
- Let's keep the mood going with this steamy build, Love is in the Pool, built by @Heautontimoru. This heart-shaped pool was created for a Discord challenge, and includes a large raised swimming area, several ambient fountains, and a covered poolside lounge to relax in. This is the perfect date spot for any budding romances, so you'll definitely want to check it out!
- And to finish us up, let's switch gears here with this adventurous gameplay story, Galaxy Far Away, written by @Caerfinon. This story follows our Scoundrel protagonist Jek Randar as he explores Batuu taking on various missions, and gets a bit of a cardio workout. So what kind of shenanigans will Jek and his sarcastic droid R1-C0 get up to next? Make sure to tune into this creative comic to find out!
