So, I don't want to sound arrogant, but after today patch it seems MUCH MORE likely they will announce The Sims 5 or at least the game development has progressed enough that EA doesn't necessarily need the base game dollars or they believe that ungate the base game can raise profit. The Emily aspect and the reminder made that she come from TS mobile could possible mean that EA maybe want to keep both iterations at the same time.
I don't know. Maybe I am being unfair but gosh golly those last Sims months weren't easy. x_x' I just hope that after TS Summit I will not feel the bummer like after Wants & Fears patch.
Edit: running both iterations at the same time (TS4 as 'TS Lite' and TS5 as next Sims experience) also fits the "we will keep updating TS4 years to come" whole thing. But sorry if I sound too delusional :expressionless:
