The Swatch Files - Players Investigation into BB Swatches
I noticed sometimes players place bug reports for missing swatches, and sometimes they just get moved to feedback. I recently started looking into swatches, and noticed both apparently missing and seemingly by design skipping (shared or swap out options) of swatches.
I thought maybe having a discussion thread where players can post swatches they think are missing and other players can give the opinions "Missing" or "By Design" before one decides to post on the bug forums or feedback forums. As well for having a place to discuss swatch sets/pairing.
Example:
Spoiler
L&D has a wide range and very close to complete swatch set. Some missing could have been by design meant to be swapped or doubled up.
- Brown/Turquoise Swatches: There is also 2 variants of Turquoise. One Turquoise on it's own, but some missing, and one Turquoise with a Cool-Brown wood. The fact these swatches' seem interchangeable/doubled up, does that mean the gaps are by Design?
- Black/Dark Grey Swatches: There is 2-3 Black/Gold (meant to match the black marble with gold fleck and fixtures/hardware/accents), Black/Dark Grey, Black/Grey(/sometimes with gold fixtures/hardware/accents). So these are very swappable and gaps may be by design. Is it 2 black swatches and 1 grey, or 3 black swatch variants meant to be swapped/shared amongst each other?
- Blue Swatch: These have some decent amount of gaps, I doubt they are by design but who knows.
- Light Grey/Grey-ish Blue Swatch: Easily swappable with the white swatches, but against the blue-ish grey wood options seems missing.
- White Swatches: There is up to 4 if you include the Light Grey/Grey-ish Blue and the White/Warm Brown swatch. There is a White and White with Gold (fixtures/hardware/accents), occasionally only having one white option (so missing the gold fixtures/hardware/accents).
- Pink Swatch: This one seems to really only be missing a couch. From what I can see so far most of this swatch has a counterpart, especially for comfort objects. This one I am highly considering opening a Bug Report for a missing swatch.
