The turtle hatching event - Spoilers ahead of how it looks!

So, I got word that the island is thriving and that there is chance of turtles hatching and you can watch them.
Honestly, this is too cute for words, how they made this look. It's amazing. Little things (literally) like these make me love TS4 so much. I love the emphasis they put on conservation.

Here are a few pics I took (nothing major, just to give a view):

  • Here's an EA link to report the Turtle Hatching event not happening:

  • I literally have never even received a notification about a turtle hatching in game, ever. I've rebuilt every lot in Sulani, and did it prior to game play, could that be why? Did it remove something critical for this event to take place?

It HAS been fixed in my game. That's why I now wonder whether it has been fixed in all games or only some games. That's weird.
  • I know this post is kinda old (ish) but does the event still happen when it's raining? I got the notification but i can't find it anywhere in Mua Pel'am...
  • The turtle hatching in my game stopped. BUT eventually one of my Sims started cleaning Mua Pel'am like nuts and the next time I was notified of the hatching event, it was there!

I think the island has to be clean in order to see the hatching event.
