I suppose this is another unpopular opinions type thread. Lets call it the Sims 4 reverse uno.
Is there anything about TS4 that seems a majority dislikes but you actually prefer? From major gameplay elements to small details?
For example, I like the swatches. I prefer them over a color wheel. There is usually enough variety for me and the color wheel plus its many patterns was always too overwhelming for me.
I like swatches too, there's so much more detail in them than with the colour wheel. - I do not know how much hate I get for saying this, but here I go:
Object babies.
I do, however, hope freeing babies will happen, for others, but even if it does, I will still be skipping the baby state ASAP to toddlers, like I also still do in TS2, where there is a bit more you can do with them (not played TS3, so I have no idea how babies are in that game). - GlacierSnowGhost6 years agoSeasoned AceLoading screens.
I actually really like being able to teleport directly from lot to lot. Especially nice for my vampires who can stay out all night wherever they want and then teleport back to Forgotten Hollow at the last minute and still get inside their houses before the sun rises. And when there is a festival announced In San Myshuno I can go there without wasting a bunch of festival time getting there.
In Sims 3 it was annoying that just driving across a small town could take a couple of sim hours. - I also dont mind the loading screens. I prefer it in some ways. For example, Sims 3 some lots are sooo empty. But in TS2 even the grocery store was like a party club. Tons of people! Open lots ways like TS4 feels like the best way to please both. I just want the neighborhoods in general bigger.
- Sharooonia6 years agoSeasoned AceI also prefer swatches, loading screens and smaller neighbourhoods. I like things to be more simple.

Never bothered me. Never even noticed it much other than a neat detail to the game.
Until I saw kazillions of people complaining how horrible it is. :D - Fluteline246 years agoSeasoned AceSwatches, occults in general, object babies (I DO want to be able to see their needs though... so I can cheat them in order for their parents to have a full night's sleep).

- Karababy526 years agoLegendPlaying with just one Sim, no autonomy, small lots/builds, hidden lots, playing with no CC/Mods, happy Sims, bicycles, non-Legacy challenges, earbuds, faithful partners, maximum one child for couples (unless they have twins), extremely minimal Gallery usage, playing offline, using objects to influence moods (i.e. elements, mathematical drawing, fossils, yoga mat, etc.), minimal landscaping, long hair on males, dollhouses, "I'm a bear" phase, Don Lothario, Foxbury campus, MOO, and OR.
I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of at the moment.
