Things You’ve Discovered In Seasons

Dogs can dislike the weather and not go out at all unless you tell them to go pee.
This is a pic of my sim's dog MrRogers, he loves the snow and there always a snow flake on his head when its snowing before he runs out to play in it. But today he did the same thing but then realized there was a blizzard outside and was like plum this! and ran back in immediately.
He sat by the door crying because he had to pee and even though hes potty trained did not want to go out into the blizzard, my sim had to tell him to go out.

Also the climbing wall keeps breaking in the rain. Not sure what to do about it... it's not like I can put it inside.

So, I just discovered that having Sims die from overheating is very easy to do...whether you intend to or not.

I started my game in summer. All was going great until I got to my 2nd lot, which has a toddler on it, and hosted a toddler play date at a park...

Because the play dates are considered "parties", most of the toddlers and their parents showed up in their party wear rather than their "hot" outfits even though there was a heat wave. Some auto changed after a few minutes, but not everyone. I put down kiddie pools and sprinklers...but it wasn't enough.

Just a couple hours in, the camera zoomed in on one of the moms and I heard the ominous death music. Then, while I'm trying to have my active parent navigate through the circle of crying Sims to plead, I notice there's a 2nd Sim on the ground next to her. (I didn't even see her fall.) I managed to plead for one of them, but then a 3rd Sim started to drop. (I'm pretty sure this broke Grimmy's brain because he just stopped moving at that point.)

I ended up going to the main menu without saving, but lesson learned. Cancel play group during a heat wave.

Edit:to think everyone I get the parenthood advice option where the kid gets a present and my parent always tell them the gift was them, to be grateful

I also learned from a livestream that Sims can sing Mayzie Grob in the game together. It literally made me cry while watching them though.
