I've tried with and without MOO, so it's not that. Have you deleted the walls created under the stairs? It only works with open-underneath stairs. You also need to place them so that the underneath ones have 3 tile-free squares for headroom.
Thank you! I did it like in Sims 3, where you just need to delete the back wall. Maybe that was it. But I will definitely be trying again this afternoon. Do they need to be faced a certain way, in correlation to the lot as well, like in 3? Id guess not, since without placing lots, we don't see which way they face anyway. Thank you so much for this! After I figure it out, I can make all my multi-floor builds look right!!
