Seriously? They said that when things are done in private, it's like it never happened. Should have to get caught before it affects reputation. I hope this is just a bug.
I think if you do it on your home lot you're safe. But doing it on a community lot (even if no one's around to see it) makes it scandalous
Ok, so this spreadsheet from Graham shows that for drinking blood without permission, a 'third party NPC must view.' I'm not sure what that means exactly. Does the NPC have to be in the same room, on the lot, or is this another term for 'community lot?' I would hope that the third party has to witness it from the same room.

Were you outdoors on the lot? Maybe the walkby sims count as witnesses. Now I have to try this myself, because it's going to bug me until I know for sure.
