Thinking of getting Bowling Night stuff

I think the bowling is not that great, but otherwise the pack is very solid. I said it before, I get the stuff packs for the stuff. And CAS is amazing! I am not going to post all of the pictures of the outfits again, but I went totally nuts on the day it was released and spent 3h in CAS. Obviously if it is not your taste then it is not for you, but the swatches of the items are incredible and open so many options for BG items and items of older packs. I would not disregard it so quickly.

Oh man, no don't buy this pack. Unless you're the kind of person who likes getting all the packs, AND really likes Bowling, don't bother with Bowling Night.

It has Stuff. Sure. Trouble is, while most Stuff packs follow a theme but are still flexible to some extent, Bowling Night is specifically Bowling centric. The furniture doesn't really fit into your average home, because it follows the bowling theme so tightly that it's too far away from the rest of your furniture.

The clutter too is entirely bowling-orientated and looks ridiculous in anything other than a lot built specially for a bowling alley, so your Sims had better like bowling. Heck, it only fits into one type of bowling alley too, so everybody's bowling alley will look the same. Also, the bowling alley doesn't bother to keep score - considering how important bowling is to this pack, you'd think they'd do that.

To make it clear, I do my best to use a little something from every pack to get my money's worth. And this is the only pack that I have not yet found a proper use for, unless I create a bowling alley. It is the only pack I truly regret buying, and that includes the FItness pack with its plethora of reskins.

I love bowling night, and I'm fairly sure it was my first full price purchase of TS4 (I'm a newer player). I find the furniture extremely usable in most of my builds and like the CAS items. I don't regret my purchase in the least.

I've had bowling stuff since it came out and haven't taken any of my sims to bowl, so I can't speak on that aspect. I do use the build/buy and CAS items frequently though. I don't regret my purchase but it's probably a stuff pack that I would buy on sale if I were to buy it again. It's probably my least used stuff pack that I own. I guess if I were you I would decide if it would get used often or not. Do you like bowling and the items it comes with and can you see yourself using it often?

Well, bowling may not be as entertaining as one would hope, but least that video was!

I'm still on the fence on buying it though, and I doubt that SP's will ever be going on sale anytime soon, so i'll think i'll consider buying it whenever my next pay period comes up (part of my spending budget for both the new GP and extra)

Bowling should have had a better scoring system and since when is bowling not a social event?? Couldn't believe that. So if you do decide to get it, just to have everything for the sims 4 (like I did :p) then at least get a mod, if you don't mind mods. The reason bowling got a stuffpack is cause the ep and gp teams decided they weren't going to add it. That's what I heard so you best get it.

I got Bowling Night when it was -30%. I was really excited about having new stuff for my sims to do and venues worth visiting. I edited the karaoke bar in San Myshuno to have a bowling alley and then downloaded a nightclub with bowling alley from the gallery. For me that was the most fun part as when I took my sims bowling I found it boring. I'm not going to write about CAS and build/buy because I buy stuff packs for the gameplay... I've been slightly disappointed with the pack, but I'm still hoping that one of my sims will get really into bowling and then the pack will be worth it.

Bowling takes an extremely long time in the game. If you sent 4 sims to a lane to bowl a game, they'd spend the entire day just bowling one game. If each roll was further dragged out and interrupted by constant chatting among themselves, it would take you 3 days just to bowl a game with a group of 4, lol.

I like the pack and the stuff (and I like bowling IRL) but I don't end up sending my sims to bowl very often because it just takes too long. The only time I ever get much bowling done is if I put a lane in a basement...then the kids get to bowl some but that's about it.
