People have demanded since The Sims 4 came out they focus on quality over quantity, we then caught wind that Vampires would be a standalone pack and then the forums went into meltdown. Then we got them, and they're the best Vampires by a long shot.

If they give the same level of detail to Cats & Dogs, with an EP budget, I think that we'll have a good chance of having a better Pets experience, than if they more types of Pets.

Give us more gameplay, not more variety.

Sims 4 is already shredded for not being exactly like sims 3. It's apparently a terrible game because it's not just like sims 3.EA doesn't really learn, i see, lol. I couldn't care less about pets. Im not buying that EP because I don't care for the idea of having to feed, shelter and bathe another living thing. Toddlers and kids are already ornery enough :D But EA really doesn't care how much sims 4 gets slammed. They will put out something even if they know it is exactly what the people don't want . Gotta hand it to em, lol. I just read the forums and I know that fans of the pets EP wanted more than just cats and dogs. So I hope, for all of our sakes its not just cats and dogs.

The Sims 4 is shredded for not being like The Sims 3, by people who cannot let go of The Sims 3. But it looks like EA are going to have The Sims 4 run longer than 3, which says to me that EA don't care about The Sims 3 veterans because they obviously didn't bring in as much profit as the audience who plays 4, otherwise they wouldn't be supporting The Sims 4 for longer than The Sims 3 (we know it will last another 3 - 4 years as of Jan this year which is 1 - 2 years longer than 1/2/3.

I personally agree with you. I have been around the sims forums since sims 2 and when sims 3 came out , the sims 2 fanatics hated on it and called for people to boycott it and said how horrible the sims looked , and that they looked like pudding. There are still lingering reviews on amazon that speak for the fact that it was not a love affair like some of the people who rave about sims 3 will have you believe. However, the crowd that hangs around to discredit this version of the sims is going to have a field day with this and I just wish that EA would listen to the fans of this game for once. If the players want more animals , do it right.Don't half plum it. You would think the response to having no toddlers or open world would have been enough to help them learn some basic standards about customer satisfaction, but I guess not. I would like to be able to defend sims 4 against critics , but this is just the latest in "Sims 3 did it better", lol. Sims 3 has horses and now , maybe sims 4 will not.

how do you know they haven't done it right? i know you agree with jackjack but i'm puzzled by your statement of "EA should listen to it's fans and do pets right". how do you know pets isn't done right? all we have is a title and ppl have convinced themselves it's done wrong.
