Also, I would suggest we adopt a 'wait and see' attitude with this coming EP. This forum is famous for throwing tantrums and getting all worked up over what usually turns out to be nothing at all (The Sims Mobile release, Vampires, etcetera.), throwing veiled insults at the devs and generally acting like spoiled kids over a piece of speculation that may or may not turn out to be true.
Also, you only get 'scammed' when you are not aware of the shortcomings of the pack before purchase. If you don't like what a pack has to offer and yet go ahead and buy it, you can't claim to have been a victim of a scam.
NRaas Registry mod was a game saver for Pets; you could set the number of strays in your save as well as number of wild horses and unicorns -- you could even set it to 0 if you wanted to totally keep wild horses out of your worlds or have multiple unicorns. :)
