LOL who am I kidding, we've had an alien face-shrinking bug for what, five years now? Ugh. Playing on ps4 is a nightmare because I have no mods to fix what EA won't. Had no idea the game was this broken or I'd have just waited for Sims 5 or something.
I've seen a lot of clay around (but not in my inventory) but haven't seen the cake-making bug yet, not even at University (one cake showed up my last term there but it was strawberry). The only issue I had with Sims breaking queue to do something else was early in Nifty Knitting, where they'd quit cooking and everything else to go knit, and that got fixed in a patch already.
