Hmm, I'm starting to feel short-changed. Usually I hang up when I get those inheritance calls, because they usually come at inconvenient times or to sims whose stories wouldn't work well with that kind of thing. But tonight I got the call when the timing was perfect, a quickie marriage-for-money would suit the sim I was playing, and it just so happened that one of his lovers was visiting at the time. Both he and she were already in a flirty mood, so he asked her to be his girlfriend and a couple hours later, he proposed. They got married in front of a wedding arch that same night, and then... nothing. It's been around 12 sim-hours and so far no sign of incoming cash. I mean, it would kind of serve him right if he doesn't get it, but still. :lol: Guess I'll wait a while longer to see if the money arrives at some point.
Edit: After 24 hours I'm thinking this story now has its protagonist smacking his forehead with the realization that he never even had a great-great-great-whatever in the first place. Yeah, I gave up on him receiving the money, so he's out of luck now, even if it does eventually come (if it does come, I'll cheat it away again, that is). Maybe his new wife will leave him because all along she was in cahoots with some grifter? Hmm... :smirk:
