Those annoying phone calls!

@VeeDub: This could very well be caused by an outdated mod. I had to update my automatic wedding ring mod after the release of Ecoliving because it initially stopped these calls from working in just the way you described.

You should check if you have a mod installed that modifies the romantic-Married tuning (15822).

I can't think of one immediately that might modify that tuning, but it's possible that I do have one. Thanks for the tip! It'll help me in tracking it down. :)

Edit: I think I found the culprit. In my tweaks folder I had an old rogue copy of one of the SitPlease (the wedding one) versions that had been been updated by LittleMsSam. I haven't tested yet, but the file was dated from late 2019, so pretty sure that's the one. You can tell how long it's been since I've had any sims attend an actual game version of a wedding, which is why I had completely forgotten about that mod. :lol: Thanks again, @83bienchen

yup in one of the iterations they call it financial marriage. Think its TS3

This thread made me think that Sims is mirroring life with the incessant "car insurance" robocalls that aren't even about car insurance but are just checking to see if anyone answers to they can sell the fact that it's a working number, to other spammers. That has trained us all to stop answering our phones at all.

In the game, I get sick of the phone ringing every 5 minutes. Have been getting some "Hey person I barely met, should I spend more time with this other person you barely know?" calls, and for now they are novel, but I bet 2 months from now my Sims phones will be on silent.
