Is there something I did not catch? My Tina Tinker (I keep writing Turner) constantly wants to bake a cake! She tried doing this 4-5 times only the last day, now it's 1AM and they just had a fire, and she is not hungry, and instead of going to bed I just stopped her on her way to the kitchen to bake a cake!!! Foodie Unite is NOT the N.A.P. of this hood.What is going on? Is it because she has the special Master Maker trait? So why doesn't she rather use the Designer Maker thing?

It's part of a major bug that has made my game completely unplayable. Sims become "infected" with a NAP behavior even if that NAP isn't active in their neighborhood just by traveling to a neighborhood that has it (whether you send them there, or if they show up on a community lot when you're playing another household). NAP behavior is supposed to only apply to the neighborhood it's been enacted in, but it remains stuck as an invisible trait. The more neighborhoods that the sims visit, the more invisible traits they get. The reason why my game is now unplayable is because I didn't realize it until too late. So now my sims constantly drop interactions I've queued up for them to do the NAP behaviors instead, baking white cakes, programming on the computer, making herbal concoctions, flirting with sims they're not in a relationship with, etc and so on. The NPCs do it too, and I'm just so frustrated with it all that I won't play until it's fixed. Haven't been in that household yet, but noticed when I went to another family one sim that had the baking skill seemed to be baking stuff when hungry opposed to cooking. Her roommate will cook normal dishes since she doesn't really have the baking skill, but my sim that does seems prone to white cakes, bread loafs, and bagels? Same with the silly festival costumes, they even show up as the sim's thumb in contact lists etc - totally breaking everything I love with this game. It's our playground, not EA's... I wish they would limit the random NAP behavior to non played NPCs - there are hundreds of them...

Aww, it's too bad that it didn't work. Sounds like these NAP behaviors are just too pervasive. They really need to crank it way down, and stuff we put in the sim's queue should take precedence.

A, yes, I noticed when signing that the thread you linked to was started by that mod's designer.

I'm playing the Turner house, and Tina is not a normal sim tech spoken, she got that extra trait. I have not yet seen many other active sims behaving against their local NAP. Anyways, ~~it worked on Tina while playing her house, so~~ give it a try!

Or maybe not. As she reached the machine, she took a selfie in front of it, and while the designing action is still in her active queue, she decided to walk downstairs to practice programming. All without even touching the maker machine...!

Update: She walked down to the computer, but changed her mind before she got seated, and pulled out a guitar instead to play a few notes. Then walking to the grill outside to brew de-stressing decoction.... She is definitely NOT cured!

Maybe she still has the buff, all NAP's are caused by hidden buffs.

I'm sure there will be another patch to help address this soon enough. More annoying than unplayable since they aren't constantly baking. Not like that for all my families tho as they are cooking normal meals. Kinda just got rid of my sims oven so she won't bother with it for now.

Is it the mod mentioned in the linked bug thread? I thought it only fixed NPCs but it if helps to fix the household I'm playing I'll definitely give it a try!

This! I was so annoyed to see Lily Feng dumpster diving, this EP has made the few traits we do have even more pointless. I clicked a “me too” on that post as well, I hope it gets sorted quickly.
