- 100 tiles so 10x10? easy to do without issue. my very first house build on comfy cubby in Newcrest was 6x8 and that was for a single person. so even with a murphy/fold away bed it doesn't really do much to change anything anyway as your sim still has to get to the bed.
For vampires it streamlines things a bit without any bedrooms at all and going by the basics. minimum 3x(whatever single digit) for the bathroom room, a tv a sofa and whatever else, it is very doable for a vampire to go much smaller than a regular sim, unless you plan to live from what is scattered about; grilled foods, foodstalls, chessboards in parks, public toilets, libraries and the like, but then what would be the point in living anywhere if you are spending 80% of each day away from the house? - Sigzy_29New Spectator

So typical of this community. The first reaction to new content being a complaint of what we don't get. Getting so tiresome, really.
i mean normally id agree with you but the pack name this time truly offends my soul

I don't think it's all just about tiny and multi-function stuff though, it looks like a build challenge to get a functioning house within a certain tile limit? Or am I watching the trailer wrong?
I think you're right. Also one of those 'tiny' houses in the trailer went up the full number of floors allowed. That's a 400 tile house (20x20) so is not even remotely tiny. Agree with the others that a lot of things that would logicaly fit into the theme are missing. But then, EA is in CA.
It's not that long since a major release, and now a stuff pack so soon? Getting antsy for the cash grab, aren't they?
They need that quarter money to please the investors after all. - ChampandGirlieNew SpectatorI'll want more information but I think I'm interested. Obviously not all of my houses will be tiny but I have some smaller houses that might be able to use this stuff. It's weird that it references being cozy and some of the hair styles might even look a bit Scandinavian which some of us asked for during the stuff pack vote, but it's weird in a good way since I asked for that. We weren't going to make it into the other knitting pack.
I am running a little bit low on lot space including tiny lots, but I have a lot of smaller houses in place. I like the Murphy bed coming back and I'd like more information. I think it's a pack I would use. - catloverplayerSeasoned Ace

No bunk beds? No spiral staircases? No ladders?
C'mon y'all.
Agreed. All of those would have been great, as would sofa beds. I'd never even heard of murphy beds before they were included in Sims 2 Apartment Life, whereas we've had sofa beds in my house from time to time.
This is kind of a sofa bed but it's a murphy bed/love seat. - SimmervilleSeasoned Ace

Slightly confused why people think there's an issue with there being knitted clothing in this pack. We've always had knit sweaters in the game.
As for what's in the pack, there's the Murphy bed (with new animation) AND new combo objects AND a whole system around the tiny houses themselves.
Indeed. Knitted clothing seems like an odd thing to get in an uproar over.
I like the knitted wear in Tiny Living. They look knitted, but a bit nicer and perhaps thinner than what I expect we might get in the Discover Knitting pack. I hope that pack will also include some "ugly" jumpers etc, if crafted by someone with less skills. So, I'm totally fine with knitted wear in this pack, in fact those sweaters might be what turns me over to buy it :) - Sigzy_29New Spectator

Well to be fair bunk beds have been highly requested. They have been present in all sims games but TS1.
I'm still so mad that they didn't animate elevators, especially on an EP that barely had much content at all. And all because they saw using elevators as useless because "at the end of the day they are just moving sims up and down".
You gotta laugh at that logic... (if you didn't, you'd cry). What if they applied that to everything? At the end of the day it's just sims getting out of bed, it's just sims eating a meal, it's just sims having a bath... I'm still mad about the lack of elevator animations too, it was a fun place to woohoo in sims 3. I used to love making my own buildings with elevators in them too. I really do not understand why they did not give us that.
As for bunk beds, well I'm pretty sad they are not in this pack, they would have fitted in nicely for the kids whilst mum and dad slept in their Murphy bed (when did we get bunks in TS2 though? I didn't think they were there except cc ones) but I guess I understand why they were not put in Tiny Living if they are too much to make for a stuff pack.
The one thing I was convinced of as soon as I saw the title was ladders. I actually watched the video fully expecting to see ladders at some point and then I was like - where's the ladders?
Elevators could also kill sims in TS2.
No sorry bunk beds were only on TS3. Sims Freeplay also has bunk beds. "luthienrising;c-17362486" wrote:
Because for some strange reason -- in spite of the rarity of Murphy beds in university dorms -- they were included in past University packs?
In TS2 it came in Apartment Life :)"elanorbreton;c-17362493" wrote:

Only CC ones in TS2. :)

I know right ? I’m also surprised not to see built in microwaves and smaller kitchen stuff.
Ohhh, build in microwaves would have been AMAZING!! thought kitchens in the houses shown are MASSIVE and bigger than most normal houses lol
IDK what 'tiny builds' they googled, but Boy Howdy they kinda missed the mark on this one, so many ignored opportunities !
I agree having built-in microwaves would be great. I guess we'll have to leave it to the cc creators and modders to give us that"Atreya33;c-17363322" wrote:

I don't think that I've ever seen a small home with a spiral staircase. In fact, I don't think that I have seen any home with a spiral staircase outside of, perhaps, Bel Air. This outrage may be misplaced.
LOL. I have thought about nothing but tiny houses with steep spiral staircases, which I have seen in real life. Mostly in old renovated houses in the middle of cities. I didn't even think about big luxurious houses that would fit in Bel Air, but now that you mentioned them, I can picture it. I suppose, like regular stairs, spiral staircases also come in different sizes. The small ones really can help save space and still offer more comfort than stairs.
I've seen some small spiral staircases of death in my life
but ladders are much more common here
and fit in even smaller houses and smaller spaces
as matter of fact I have ladder going upstairs in room I am in right now
