I've been thinking about doing the same thing lately. The main reason I got Origin was to play the Sims 4, and since I get more entertainment from 99 cent games these days, there seems like no point in keeping it around.
My new price point (if I cave at all on something) for the Sims 4 is now a hard line 99 cents because of this, and since we all know they love overpricing things so very very much, it's pretty likely to never happen.
Who would have ever known that the silver lining in all of this is that we can finally throw off the shackles of EA and Origin forever and finally walk into the light.
