The toddler traits really do make them act differently, I barely notice the independent toddlers and have a hard time with those that like to throw tantrums. Some bugs are bound to happen as with every life stage but overall they're perfect (except for them not crawling).
The independents have their moments - bath time can be a challenge if they haven't got enough logic skill, and they often have a negative reaction to the 'comfort' interaction when they're sad. I actually like the cuddly clingy trait the best.
