I didn't think it was possible...I will gladly eat the humble pie and apologize for my attitude. Well played, EA, well played. Got me on an emotional roller coaster from loathing you, to having a vendetta, to hopelessness, to the zagadoos, to laughing, to crying, to feeling absolutely numb. Well played. I'm speechless, really. I didn't think it was possible :D
But don't do this again. You listen intently from the community from now on. From the very start of a game, hit the ground running, or else I will go into Crumplebottom mode. Trust me, I went easy. Oh yea, and thanks. 2017 is my year for sure. I still have my eyes on you just like Mrs. Crumplebottom does whenever she sees lovers express their affections in public. Well played. *puts purse away*
I have also said repeatedly that TS4 would not get toddlers, so serve me up a slice of that humble pie. I was wrong. I am very happy for everyone who loves TS4 and wanted toddlers.
Sadly for EA but good for my wallet, they came too late for me. Had they been included in the base game, I would have bought it. But now, years on, I've had time to see everything else that's wrong with the game for my play style. Too much culling, musical chairs, bugs that are not fixed, glow-y Pixar graphics, and tied to Origin. Not for me.
But again, for TS4 players who wanted toddlers, I'm very happy for you, honest! I love gaming and want all gamers to be happy.
Yep. Glad my hysterical coaster has come down! Now, I can actually type! I'm jumping between at least three other forums at the moment, and some simmers are saying the same exact things you are saying. It's just too late for some-and part of me says, me too. I completely agree that the game is still pretty buggy. One person on mod the sims already reported on a few bugs due to the latest patch. Shame. Not to mention the culling, if that's still going on. I'm pretty sure I will still play more of TS2 UC than TS4 because even though we have toddlers there's still so much to iron out and add. That's why I warned EA to have everything in the base, in the complete, game and then add some other aspects. I don't like the idea of buying packs just to have a full game. I'm pretty frugal. I'm just in shock at the moment, and thrilled for family players! I want to try these rugrats out later on, but, yea. It's completely understandable it's too late for some of us, you, I haven't decided exactly where I stand yet. Maybe next time they'll get things right from the first go around, hopefully.
