Toddlers can swim (play) in the ocean!

I'd rather have them reuse the animation, than deal with toddlers being unable to go into the water.

LOL are we celebrating the most basic things in the packs now? Shouldn't it be expected that toddlers would be able to swim in the ocean? The scary thing is that if they hadn't already made the animation, we most likely wouldn't get it - and they just copied the bath animation - at least change the toy ffs. Absolutely the most lazy thing I've ever seen. LMAO
The floaties are very cute though.

That's a good point, but in previous games, toddlers were severely neglected. They got almost no new CAS in packs, and they're locked out of most activities. You couldn't even take them to community lots or on vacation in TS2. This is the first time they can play in the water.

I think the absence of toddlers from the beginning and the ensuing outrage made the developers hyper aware of toddlers, so they end up getting more content to make up for lost time. Which I do appreciate

There is a lot of family focused content in this pack, so it makes sense to have content for all age groups. I like that toddlers can play in the sand (hope it contibutes to skill building like Movement and Imagination). If there's a good sized lot by the water I might build a small park with the play equipment. (I could have a pier over the ocean for swimming/diving and add the required items there like a bathroom and chess table. And I can place the tarp shower from OR to use as an outdoor shower (most beaches in California have those so you don't track sand in your car going home).
