I heard having them "round around" for about eight hours can shed off the weight but It hasn't worked for me. I don't' think it's possible for them to be any fatter. I used to feed them if they weren't hungry because I use my sims to make series (like a tv show but made with sims and not publicly shared) so when I had to film a meal scene sometimes the toddler wasn't hungry but had to eat at the same at as the parents. When I figured out that's why they were getting so fat, I waited until the tot was hungry or would put her in her high chair with food but not let her eat it and instead throw a tantrum or cry just so have something to use for a meal scene. Anyone know how to get rid of toddler fat? I don't want to wait until they become kids. I haven't been allowed to edit them in CAS after creating them in CAS so I can't just change the weight. When planning her outfits it doesn't let me change her weight yet I can change her eye size- which I've done by accident many times. I was saving them in CAS and then replacing the one I was playing with the original skinny version of her but then I had to her to achieve all of her skills all over again. - I noticed that too. My sim has two daughters rn, and they're very plump lol. They are still really cute tho, but I want one of them to slim down when they get older... I working with it as part of my storyline for the eldest daughter.
- I think it is a bug in the game, because it happens to every single one of my female children, but none of my males. And I don't feed the boy babies any differently than the girl babies. The girls when they grow into toddlers, kids and teens end up with almost the highest level of plumpness (always the same level), whereas the boys are all really skinny. And they run around and play the same amount.
I have no idea what's causing the bug, but I just slim them down manually with cas.fulleditmode, when they grow into toddlers. - If you're still having this bug I would follow the advice Rosemow posted back in January, as this thread's a bit old now and we do direct Simmers to post about bugs and issues over on Answers HQ (learn more over at https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/944811/update-on-the-sims-4-help-center#latest).
