I am glad to see this option being added. I didn't expect EA to actually make changes beyond a bit of tuning. I'm happily surprised.
I do wonder what they mean with 'all natural sources of ailments'. According to some modders there was a random chance of ailments after a work day or a visit to a public bathroom. I hope those are covered by one of the options.
