 Would you enjoy having rude sims in your game? I stopped giving any sims the lazy trait 'cuz I got tired of cleaning up after the slobs! --always having to send someone to flush the toilet 'cuz Lazybones couldn't be bothered! :rage:
If you are a rotational player, though, even well-behaved child sims will act out if they visit while you're playing another HH. Perhaps this will be adjusted in a patch, at some point, but as of the June 18th patch, they're pretty bad in my game. (I haven't updated to the July patch; waiting for August's patch.)
I am not a programmer, but to me, 'our' sims don't act like themselves when the game is treating them like npcs, so I tend to think the ones I see out & about are temporary clones of 'my' sims, & not the real thing. Any relationship changes effectuated while the temp-clones are gallivanting about get transferred to the real sims, so...it's only how I explain away the discrepancies, & not how the programming works.
