Top 5 best CAS traits

Hi all, I’m working on creating a Super Sim, and I was wondering what your top 5 best CAS traits are (I’m using a mod that allows 5 CAS traits). Any feedback is greatly appreciated:)
  • I've created a couple of different Super Sims in the past, and I found I preferred these traits, which made things much easier to work with.

    Active
    Creative
    Genius
    Outgoing
    Music Lover

Those traits make it much easier for the sim to want to learn and spend time doing the different skills.
  • In sims 4 they'd sadly still act the same, I put an evil mean guy in a house and he became friends with everyone. Because sims never seem to do interesting interactions on their own.
Even if you clearly put in that they dislike something, they will do it anyway. Vegetarians eat meat too if another sim serves it, and then gets sick and mad about having eaten it. It's why I don't have vegetarian sims any more in Sims 4.

In sims 3 I had some interesting situations because of traits. I had a good and evil woman in the same house, when moving in they talked quite nicely to each other, seemed to get along until they discovered those traits of each other. They disliked each other ever since.
I also had this loner rockstar guy in the house, I am not sure of his traits anymore but he is the only masochist sim I ever had. He kept flirting with the evil woman, and she would slap him or beat him up after every attempt, sometimes she'd beat him first, and he'd come on to her after that.
And he never made a pass at the good woman who also lived there. Or the lazy slob guy or the geek guy who also lived there. Did it all on his own.

I really hate how they do nothing interesting in sims 4 unless you tell them to do it. I always like to see my sims do their own thing, make their own friends and pick their own love interest(s). Make their own enemies too.

They don't really do much so you can pick whatever. Everyone seems to be a super sim by default.

I really wish they did not downgrade traits so much compared to Sims 3 where it did a whole lot more and you also got way more traits to pick and also to have at once.

Yes! I agree, all sims become super-sims unless you use mods.

Triplis has a mod that let’s lock a skill when you feel that your sim has gained enough knowledge. That way you can have a sim making dinner every day, humdrum lvl 3 all the time. Or a sim who lives karaoke and sings badly every Friday night.

    I highly recommend it.

The traits I keep trying to avoid are usually my favorite ones. Loves the outdoors, creative, bookworm, loves music, genius, vegetarian, materialistic, foodie and loner. I rarely use negative traits as they really aren't negative. I have tried twice to make an evil, materialistic and mean spirited sim who loves to make friends...whut?? I usually just give up.

  • Yes, that's really a problem. I hate how sims can't be mean. Not unless you tell them to. I like having sims who aren't perfectly nice inoffensive people. I don't like the utopia that is Sims 4.
I like having jerks in the neighbourhood too, materialistic sims.

As it is, the main thing irritating me is that all sims are food snobs, complaining about simple meals being boring. As if they have time to prepare food before going to work in the morning.
  • My favorites are romantic and creative. Ninety percent of my sims get these two. After that I do use active quite a bit, along with cheerful, loves the outdoors or neat.
