Townie Fashion Police >.<

No need for CC to have lovely townies walking around looking like nutters, I don't use CC nor mods and my towns are full of them.

This thread has inspired me to make a club called "the fashion police" who recruit fashion criminals and forces make overs on them.

This is my family and not a townie.
My sim Alma is a painter and this is her job outfit. On what basis the game chooses the career outfit?

The combination of what she have on is so tacky. Some of these including the dress are CC. She came wearing this after she got a promotion!!

From what I gather, @halimali1980 it has to do with lack of coordination. You can wear tacky clothing all you want, but even the most tacky outfits seem to have a bit of coordination with them. If you wear formal, elbow-length opera gloves with a track shirt and underwear bottoms as your athletic clothing, you're not just tacky, you're completely out to lunch. The outfit shown may not be a first choice for a lot of people, but it isn't hideously uncoordinated.

Also, it seems to do with the career chosen. If you have an athletic aspiration and chose to be an athlete instead of a bodybuilder, you eventually get a soccer kit to wear. And, I must admit, the soccer kit is coordinated. Haven't experimented with too many other work outfits because I can't play for hours on end to get them that leveled up in their career in a day :disappointed:

I love this thread I need to get in game and start searching for oddly dressed townies. our townies need a new fashion line like Garanimals.

I've always been curious about why wearing socks with high heels is seen as a faux pas because I've never heard the same about wearing socks with flats, which are pretty much the same (an open shoe that covers the toes, but exposes the foot).
