Townie Fashion Police was one of my favorite threads in the "old forum." It was always good for a few laughs. Z and I think it's time to bring it back, and so does our friend Daniel.
When your festival attire is more outlandish than that of the cosplayer you're sitting with, that's a job for the Townie Fashion Police.
"What did I do to deserve this?" Daniel asks the camera. At least he has a tasty cheeseburger to enjoy.
His makeup matched his outfit color and background quite well. He should change to the clown costume to make this pic feel like the amusement park!
It's a nightmare to think that every fancy CAS item the game added, means even more crazy random townie fashion.

(Below is some information about CAS that you can skip if too much information.)
I used a mod to disable random makeup and accessories because of this. Because it's quite hard to change default makeup even if you go to edit them in CAS. Their makeup is still stuck with bath outfits and you have to remove or edit with mod.
I use the copy and paste method with mccc to fix the makeup of the career/situation outfit when that townie is worth fixing rather than deleting. (A lot of random sims have good facial features, they just look bad because of the extreme randomness of makeup and accessories.)

Thanks for the information. Normally, I disable items for townies with MCCC or Sims 4 Studio if they really get on my nerves, but most of the time, I just ignore it ... ๐If this ranch hand sticks around, I may change his makeup but for now, I'll leave it. In my mind he came straight from some sort of celebration or party to work. As long as he cleans the lot and is kind to the horses, it's probably fine with my Sims.
That's great! Glad that you leave it be like that on purpose. As long as he can work well in his duty, that's fine.

That's a good habit. I'm too lazy ๐ , but I may begin entering CAS a lot more often as my Sims interact more with randoms.
These are the whole new level of brutal townie fashion!
The boy's face in the first pic is too simple for his choice of costume. A child's facial proportions can't be as crazy as an adult's, so we have to see when he will grow up with his advanced Townie Fashion.
For the woman sim in the last pic, just remove all accessories, and she will be fine. But it's better to choose top or bottom as the main theme, not keep both.

But what I worry the most about is the man's extreme makeup. That's because you can't completely move makeup with normal CAS mode. The makeup is still stuck with the bath outfit (when undressed), and this will still apply to every situation and career outfit unless you fix it with MCCC's Dresser module.
I usually copy and paste the makeup to fix the woman's extreme makeup. But I'm not sure how to remove it completely. Right now, I use Bienchen (sims4me)'s mod to disable random makeup and accessories, so I don't have this issue again with newly generated townies. But the bad side is I won't have a chance to see juicy townie fashion in this level anymore. lol
