Townie Households Almost All Have Same Structure

Has anybody else noticed this? For whatever reason, townie households almost always have the exact same structure. For me, it's just about always either single elder households (seriously, elders EVER...

there's a Bienchen mod that corrects the family structure but it's not getting updated until the end of december.
