Train Paint not working after installing Get Famous

I posted this on the EA side and got no help.I dont have the ability to post this in Game play Issues.
Ever since I installed Get Famous the new Train tools have been fun but for some reason Train Paint will not work. https://youtu.be/clUAu_Oo7Gw
I didn't know that in game video capture doesn't recorded the UI
But I am changing between paint and erase as well as grass and stone paints

Edit: I do not use mods at all so this is all vanilla game

    I cannot use Terrain Paint in my game. First, I tried with Mods installed then I took out ALL MY MODS and I STILL CANNOT USE the Terrain Paint function. All this happened after I installed the Patch AND Get Famous.

    UPDATE: If you have LAPTOP MODE ON, TURN IT OFF. Terrain Paints should work, it did for me. Hopefully there will be a fix for it soon.

    Thanks, I'll try this. I don't have any mods or cc running, but am using laptop mode - so maybe that will work.

    I'm having the same issue with terrain paints not working. I have only tried in Del Sol Valley, though. I need to test if it's the same in all worlds for me.

    You're welcome. I was told this solution when I went to SimGuruGrant Twitter and someone else suggested that Laptop Mode be turned off. Did you get Terrain Paints to work in your game yet, atrainor?

    Update your game - the Guru's fixed the issue today and a few other big bugs - go update and you can have laptop mode back on as well as terrain paints.

    I just found this post & wanted to say that my game is up to date & the terrain paint never worked. Laptop mode off fixed it.
