Traits you Avoid
I never, ever give my Sims the Active Trait because I hate when Sims start doing push ups and sit ups out of no where. Are there any traits that you avoid giving your Sims and why?

While I am not actively avoiding any of the traits, there are some that can really get on my nerves, for example cheerful (sims are happy enough as it is), geek and active because of their constant tense buffs. I also rarely use family-oriented for my main sims because I don't really do family play, which would just be a wasted slot.
I don't really get the hate for negative traits like evil or self-absorbed. I once had a sim who was mean and self-absorbed and she was just so fun to play. I also like the unflirty trait and was so happy when they finally included it in city living because I always imagined one of my sims as aromantic asexual, I just didn't have the traits to portray that. Hates children is another trait I like to use on my sims because I just like these types of characters :D And single sims with the jealous trait have been the most relatable I've ever seen haha
