Yup.. City Living might as well just be a world pack as it adds no gameplay other than a new world to live and a couple festivals. Apartments are nice to live in and build in sometimes ig but there's literally nothing else there.

Surprised it doesn't get the same rep as Island Living tbh. To think in the Sims 3 equivalent we literally got vampires, hot tubs, exclusive clubs, customisable apartments, and fame all in the "city pack", Sims 4 it's literally just the "apartments pack". ?

You forget lots of features that CL introduced. I might mix some with other packs, but how about the Politician career, Social media career, tons of meals from different cultures, the street sales table/mats, karaoke incl singing skill, exotic CAS and BB, fireworks? None of those connects to apartments. Btw, I loved the chance to rent a home, too, great for those who can't afford to buy a house.
