Trying to purchase a Cafe

I'm fairly sure we can't buy the cafes. We can create them with some creativity I think (I'm not overly creative myself) but the ones already in the game aren't ownable. I would love to be wrong! I hope someone comes in and tells me I'm totally wrong, but I sadly don't think I am. :'(

You can only buy retail stores and restaurants . If you want to make a bakery, you buy a retail store and get the appropriate items and sell baked goods. You can add a coffee maker into it, but you won't get money from it, sims will just make it themselves. IF you are hell-bent on owning specifically a Café, I'd suggest this mod: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=592824. Please read through it if you take this route though so you know exactly what you're doing.

well overall it kind of sucks you cant own a bar or caffee well you can you just wont make any money off it :( lol.

go into free build mode then go to lot type and cafe is on the list
