TS4 hints? DAYCARE, new logo and Origin shut down

If we do get daycare lot type, hope it includes babies too, not just toddlers. Free the babies! :lol:

I don't know how I feel about being forced into EA app though. I was forced into windows 10 and still hate it ?

Pretty sure daycare is just a mod (it says Mod showcase even in the video title)
and thats just holiday pack everyone already has? and its pink/purple because its free content?

I recall seeing people complain about some games not being on ea app n such
why not celebrate this change by adding ts1 and 2 complete collections on ea app wink wink ea wink wink wink wink....

There is no mod for the gallery as I know.
It is managed by The Sims Team and cannot be edited with or by mod.

About the Holiday Pack, it is not about the pack itself but more about the logo changing.
Due to the sims going free, there is a chance for a big refresh on the whole franchise and packs could get refreshes to be appealing for new gamers.

But personally I wouldn't even imagine putting so much time into editing a video to share fake news.
Also, the video shows that the DAYCARE voice is clickable and has nothing inside, so I would like to be optimistic for once :D

SimGuruNinja liked a post about sims3 generations being someone’s favourite like yesterday. Ah I would love that to be a hint ? Is it still possible to get generations EP to sims 4 though? Since we have parenthood? I know its not the same but idk they like to seperate EVERYTHING in sims 4 like they seperated supernaturals etc so generations EP sound too good to be true ?

There is a mod by LittleMsSam for a live in business Daycare. But it says to change the Lot TRAIT, not Lot TYPE.

I think I have that mod in my game, I'll check it out.

Ok, I checked in my game with that mod installed to see if a Daycare showed up as a Lot TYPE, and it did, but it doesn't look like the screenshot in that video. Mine has a little icon of a baby on it.



But going into My Library and looking at the Lot Types (which I think a mod can't change, at least I don't think I have anything that's not official Lot Types showing)

There IS a Daycare Lot Type listed, but I'm not sure if that's always been there

It's definitely from a mod!

I pulled my entire TS4 out of my documents and created a new sim and tried again.

Daycare Lot Type does NOT show up in a vanilla game!

Well it was not in my completely unmodded game sooo its probably that mod

I don't know. I visited the website as soon as I got the notification for this tweet and there have been some changes also on TS2 and TS3 titles.
For example, if you visit the website now and try to open the SIMS 4 HOLIDAY PACK you get a 404 error page

Everything new is always welcome! Except for the EA App.
I had it for a week and deleted it asap.
