TS4 hints? DAYCARE, new logo and Origin shut down

I recently came across some things and wanted to group them all.

1. DAYCARE
On Youtube I found this video that shows the Daycare label inside TS4 Gallery, claiming it wasn't there before and has no contents to show.
Could GENERATIONS be really coming to TS4?

I am italian so I looked for it inside my Gallery but I have nothing similar to Daycare (instead I have an Atelier label which I've never understood what was for).

Turns out it is a MOD.

2. NEW LOGO
After a post on Twitter and a website shutdown for some hours, the website came back with a new minimal logo on all Sims title except Sims 4.

3. ORIGIN
When opening my Origin today I noted a note in the upper screen advising me that in the next months EA App will be the only app to use to play, buy and download EA games.

What do you think?

    I do hope that does not mess things up for people

    I recall seeing people complain about some games not being on ea app n such
    why not celebrate this change by adding ts1 and 2 complete collections on ea app wink wink ea wink wink wink wink....


    I am dreaming of TS2! I really hope so

    There is no mod for the gallery as I know.
    It is managed by The Sims Team and cannot be edited with or by mod.

    About the Holiday Pack, it is not about the pack itself but more about the logo changing.
    Due to the sims going free, there is a chance for a big refresh on the whole franchise and packs could get refreshes to be appealing for new gamers.


    oh. the text is probably to align with ea app tho
    and they might just be changing pictures to better align with that app
    does not really promise anything else

    gallery thing idk it isn't there for everyone which it would be if it was already put in game accidentally y know
    they may not be able to mod the gallery but also couldn't they just edit it for this particular video tho

    Ok, I checked in my game with that mod installed to see if a Daycare showed up as a Lot TYPE, and it did, but it doesn't look like the screenshot in that video. Mine has a little icon of a baby on it.

    But going into My Library and looking at the Lot Types (which I think a mod can't change, at least I don't think I have anything that's not official Lot Types showing)

    There IS a Daycare Lot Type listed, but I'm not sure if that's always been there

    Well it was not in my completely unmodded game sooo its probably that mod

    Question will the ea app be fullof bugs to the point that it prevents the sims4 from loading tried the beta version of the ea app would not let sims4 load so had to reinstall origin?

    ***UPDATE AGAIN ***

    It's definitely from a mod!

    I pulled my entire TS4 out of my documents and created a new sim and tried again.

    Daycare Lot Type does NOT show up in a vanilla game!

    I didn't knew MOD could change also gallery items!

    I had it on my PC and it was working fine.
    I deleted it because I like Origin more
