TS4 Jungle Adventure Opinions

On my second trip and I m really enjoying it. I m going to make the teen son a future archaeologist. It won’t be a place I send every family to, but I love the atmosphere and the new dances are fun. I m glad I bought it.

I hadn't planned on buying this one (or at least waited for a good sale), but I'm getting over the flu and was bored. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by this one, as it isn't my play style at all. I love the new buy/build stuff so much, that alone is almost worth the money IMO. The world is really pretty and I'm looking forward to rebuilding it the way I want. I don't know how often I'll send my sims to explore there, but given all the other content it has I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I really like the GP so far. I purchased as I was really wanting a new vacation spot for my Sims & I wanted something new that I've never experienced playing The Sims. I also liked that there was a new death type and danger. I've always felt that the game lacked in the danger aspect, so that was part of my motivation as well. I created a new Sim, and a backstory for her, so this pack correlates perfectly. I really like the addition of new culture, foods, and the animation for the dancing is really good too, which I find as bonuses.

I've seen several threads with comments that some Simmers have made a lot of money quickly. That definitely isn't happening in my game, as my Sim isn't collecting high valuables. I'm kind of taking my time with the GP....I sent my Sim on a 2 day vacation over the weekend. She will go back at some point, but she doesn't have the vacation time to explore for 5 days straight. But yeah, overall, I really like the pack.

Love it! I’ve only been on one vacation there (4 days) and I didn’t get everywhere, or do everything. The last day is when I finally got to the temple, but wasn’t able to get inside. Means i’ll be going back.

The world is great! This pack definitely exceeded my expectations at least.

After taking a hiatus, Jungle Adventure brought me back to play Sims 4 again. If you think about it JA is technically two packs in one. This game pack offers a vacation destination for simmers needing something more exotic than our traditional Granite Falls getaway. I plan on making a spa out in Selvadorada as it seems like a good fit for any tropical destination. That way I can take a honeymoon there. On the other hand JA also operates as an adventure pack. It's a win win.

I'm feeling the same and I haven't even started exploring the temple yet. Just navigating the walkable areas is a bit challenging for me. :p I keep losing the fishing spots.

I don't have an opinion yet because I've probably only played about 20 minutes since downloading. Sent my sim and had him go to the cantina to get some supplies and then quit. This morning though, I went in, sent him home and then went back and bulldozed 4 of the lots. I have to build it before they will come. Maybe I'll try some building this weekend and then actually play it after that.

I wish I had time to actually play it deeply. I have to work this saturday too, so I will only have Sunday to have a decent amount of time with it.
I was amazed about being able to zoom out and take in the whole area. Not only can you see the area you are in, you can also see the other connected areas.



This gives you a better idea of where you are in the world.


I wish they could react to snakes, even it that means only seeing them slither out once in a while.


I think it's going to take me several play-throughs with different sims before I can say how I feel about it.

What prompted you to purchase it? Was there something specific that drew you in? Did it meet your expectations? What do you like most about it so far?

I watched the trailer when it came up in my recommended on YouTube and I really liked the concept of hunting through temples and all the traps and stuff that you can come across that cause different things to happen.
I would say for the most part it's what I expected from a pack with this theme.. things that can appear and catch you off guard (and the extras you can purchase in game in order to protect yourselves from what could happen) - I like the multi choice pop ups that reward you with different things depending on certain outcomes (I've found rare treasures this way that I don't think I would have found elsewhere in the game). The new skills that came with the pack add a little extra flare to it (the culture skill like if you were travelling IRL you pick up things along the way). The lots in the world are awesome and I wish I had the creativeness to build something like that, really makes you feel like you're in a exotic location with new things around the corner.

Overall I would recommend the pack as it's high up on my list - everyone plays differently from others and use things in their game someone else might not but I definitely think it adds something

I want the Jungle GP and First pet SP but trying to decide when. I would hate to buy them then they go on sale cheaper. Easter sale?????????? When shall I buy? The only two packs I don't have yet.
