They are usually celeb types that push certain brands, lifestyle, designs, etc that has huge popular followings. They don't make things themselves - but they do push just particular brands and styles and have huge followings of people doing what ever they suggest to do. A lot of celebs that push their own popular brands are often considered Style Influencers. They say what style and things they want - people who work for them make sure the new line gets made and every body who is anybody pushes the product unlike any other product out there.
