With Get Famous, your sim cam become famous in any career, which S1, 2 or 3 did not do. So, based on your number theory, GF adds more careers because now each career is revised to allow a sim to be famous so, every career in this game is practically new.
So, instead of a Rockstar, Director and Model, and Singer, they are just shoehorning in fame for all the preexisting careers. Cheap.
