I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but what I saw was cute. I'm cautiously optimistic about the turn-ons/turn-offs, although there are some things I'd have done differently. The world is potentially very nice, but I need more information. CAS was very meh for me; they clearly put most of their effort into the costumes, which don't really interest me. Don't really care about the dating app (and I can see where it has lots of potential to be Social Bunny 2.0, in a bad way).
I really like that they updated CAS with the ability to apply settings like makeup or jewelry across the wardrobe, and I love that they updated the relationship settings, and that both of those things are base game updates. One small quibble: "Partner" mostly makes sense to me as a gender-neutral substitute for boyfriend/girlfriend; I definitely get what they were going for and agree with it. I do wonder whether that was the absolute best choice of words, as "partner" implies a more serious/committed relationship that's closer to spouse than a dating relationship. So it sounds a little odd for our teen couples, as well as more casual dating relationships. But I'll get used to it. ("Spouse" was a perfect switch from husband/wife, though!)
B/B is fine. Nothing I'm super excited about, but the curved bar looks good, and I do like that they have the new canopies that you can snap onto any bed. I'll definitely use that feature. And I will absolutely be making some curved pools. I actually like the sad breakup bed better than the heart bed, because it will fit well for some of my poorer sims.
Overall, I'm exactly where I was before the livestream: I'll almost certainly buy it in time to get the bonus items, but not until after I have a better idea of what the bugs are.
One small question: are those purple trees meant to be jacarandas? If so, ❤️❤️❤️!
