Did you guys figure out what part of the world each neighborhood represents ?
I think Bellacorde is Rome
Dambele is like Egypt
What is Verdemar tho ?
What are your thoughts ?

Given that the notable premade surnames, other than Thebe, are Portuguese, I think Verdemar is supposed to be Portugal. Also Verde and Mar are words in Portuguese. It's possible it represents the Iberian peninsula as a region, though.

Oh I thought Tartosa is based on Iberia 😯
Maybe its going to be sort of Caribbean Islands or some Protegee colony then ?
What does Verde and Mar translate to ?

Green and sea in both Spanish and Portuguese.

Dambele - I did not think of Egypt immidiately, would expect a deco pyramid in the distance if so. But I have never been to Africa. Northern part seems likely, based on my limited personal reference...
Bellacorde - Rome seems like an option. Or at least somewhere in that area. Not sure how accurate EA would be re the Capp dynasty is taken from Romeo & Juliet. It looks mediterranean, but yet not an exact neighbor of Tartosa.
Verdemar - First I saw this as mediterranean, as well, but it appears more lush and maybe warmer than Tartosa (and Bellacorde). So, in my head it's a bit wilder, which fits with the pirate story. Some mention Caribbean, and I've decided to go for that in my own save, geographically? That region is not represented previously, and were there not colonies centuries ago, with Portugese influence? (re the verde + mar)
