I was quite surprised when I had a sim do that. It was a lazy sim that did it so I don't know if it's just a lazy sim thing because I haven't tested it with another sim but even so it's nice small touch. The room was also pretty small so like it was wall, one tile, then bed with a floor length mirror on the wall.
