To be honest I get twins way more often than what I would like. For example, I am playing a single mother who is trying to reach the top of her career. I would like for her to have one child to focus on so when I got twins, it got overwhelming. She's in the social media career and I often decide to work from home.. which is so chaotic now that they are toddlers.
I know I could technically delete one in cas, but I just can't bring myself to do that. I use no fertility, no traits for the sim or lot. So far I have only got a single child twice since I got City Life, it was super rare before that.

My curious one.

My independent one.

And the two together.. I just can't remove one.
