I love to hear about things that you did not expect, did not plan for. The game just decided to throw in a plot twist. For example my heir, Julian, met his girlfriend June at University. My plan was to graduate, inherit the family house & fortune, get a job & marry June. He was settled in when he received the message that June passed away. I couldn't believe it, she was a YA.I also have to mention another time a wrench was thrown into my game. Disregard that it was Sims 2. I had a royal family and the two daughters went to University. The oldest daughter, future queen, met a nice guy to marry. The day of the wedding she put on her gorgeous dress. Picture this CC dress, white version of the Titanic dress Rose wore, she looked beautiful! The guests arrive and it starts to pour rain outside, with thunder & lightning. They're waiting for the rain to stop when a bush is struck by lightning and is on fire. Everyone runs outside to hop around the bush and scream. Next thing you know someone's on fire, So many Sims there I can't tell who's burning. In the end, the bride (in her wedding dress) and her mother had died. It was a very sad day, especially for the groom.My heir, Hannah, was searching for a nice guy to marry and so I created a club with a bunch of eligible guys and her. They went around partying and she became friends with several. One day, the quietest guy in the group, who she barely got to know, came knocking on her door. They became friends, fell in love and got married. Later I went back and looked at group shots and noticed he was always looking at her.So, tell me your unexpected plot twists.

When I was doing the million simoleons scenario, I had just gotten Eco Living for my PS4. I had a female sim named Luna Moon go to some of the areas during winter, and did some dumpster diving to look for things to sell. One sim that arrived, and was doing the same was Father Winter. I had Luna give him a respectful introduction, and then had them chat. I then had her leave to try fishing next.Two sim days went by, and Father Winter called to come over. I had him arrive, and he was in a flirty mood. I decided to have Luna flirt back. They hit it off very well. I then had her propose, which he accepted, and then they immediately eloped. Now, Luna and Father Winter have a teen daughter named Emma MoonFrost and a son that is still a child named Jack MoonFrost. They recently adopted a foal to add to the family. They are just under halfway to completing the scenario, but the Father Winter twist was one I didn't want to pass up.

I don't know if the PS4 is the same as the PC version, but my generation 7 Sim met father winter at university and they hit it off so well I took him into CAS and made him a young adult. Vincent became my favorite Sim.He and Justine were married, had 8 children and she passed away of old age. I waited for Vincent to pass, he never did. He's over 850 days old now and every time his wife dies I give him another. He's on his 6th marriage and recently had his 20th child. Father Winter doesn't die.

One of my legacy sims kept autonomously eating cake with the family's undead cowplant and after the third time, I was like... I'm not gonna help you at all. A few minutes later, he was eaten 😆

I didn't expect this, Mele hugging my sim in a romantic way in front of her husband, my sim and Mele never dated or ever flirted with each other. Mele is married to my sims now.

My current save started with a plot twist. My sim had just started dating Mathew, he had declared his love in public, called and told her he had a huge crush on her. I was ready to let it run its course and for the two of them to get married. Then she lost her job, she called Mathew and wanted to see him to ask for advice or help - and he completely blew her off. She was so embarrassed. Later, when she's at the park, she meets a friend she knows, Joseph, and complains to him and he offers her to move in with him and his two kids. She ended up marrying him instead, and they had four kids together. I'm now on gen 3 and the first gen 4 kid just turned into a teenager. Both Joseph and Abigail is dead now, and buried side by side.

This happened so long ago in my game, I all but forgot. I had a couple of disturbing Plot Twists in my game. While my Sim was busy packing lunches for her first four kids who had just aged up to Child Sims, she got a curious thought that popped up in her menu bar. She was sad over the loss of the love of her life. I'm sitting there wondering, what loss, he's busy in the backyard tending to their chickens? The camera didn't **bleep** over to where he was, nor did I see Grimmie. I exited without saving so that I could check things out. There was a headstone in the chicken yard, to my surprise. As I panned the camera around to find my Sim was one with the rock fence. I mean he was pressed into the stone! 😬 Needless to say I took this problem to the forums for an opinion on just what was I to do? We all agreed it was a glitch, especially since the camera never zoned in on what was happening out back.
Another time, the same Sim died. He froze to death, but what was weird is that he had made it indoors, but instead of thawing out --- he died. Again, it was agreed this was yet another glitch. This time (since this had happened relatively soon after a Patch) I was asked if I had made a backup of my saves file prior to the patch. I had but forgot about it. I swapped places with the saves file and voila, the game stopped targeting that particular Sim.
Sometimes, and I wish I could think of an example, something occurs in my game that actually facilitates the goal I had in mind --- as if it can read my mind . . .

As I just posted in the "What Happened in Your Game Today?" thread, my Evil sim Morgan, on her second day in the Detective career, was out searching for her suspect to arrest him. As soon as she found him, she developed an attraction to him. And, of course, whisked him straight back to the station to search him. 😉 This is going nowhere good in a big hurry...

A few days ago i have no idea how this happened but apparently one of my sims in the household decided to take a break from everything it decided it wants to go to Selvadorada when i played with an another household
I didn't knew at first it was Selvadorada though, 1 minute i thought it was Tartosa, the next i thought it was Chestnut Ridge, the next i thought it was Ciudad Enamorada, the next i thought it was Tomarang, i got errors on my brain not knowing which place my sim was in but once i pressed the M i finally found out it wasn't any of the places i mentioned on the list
not surprised i got errors in my head but it turned out my sim was in Selvadorada the whole times...oops😂😂😂
Something like that happened to me last week but it's so funny without me doing it, my sim decided it wants to go to Selvadorada by itself😂😂😂
And something interesting happened to my another save but it's like 3 or 4 years ago i decided to give the kid some space by visiting the community lot, i kind of cheated the kid's needs and after like 3 sims days it finally turned back home to see the mom was in a uncomfortable mood because she was in labor...not just for 1 baby or 2 babies but 3 babies...triplet boys to be exact😱😱
I can't remember me doing the "try for a baby" interraction so the game probably decided the couple deserves to have an another baby🤣🤣🤣

That was a weird glitch, she had a premonition of losing her husband, but I like the choice of not saving it. I decided not to save once when my family's little girl drowned in a community pool.
Maybe the Sim that froze just waited too long to go inside? My customers turn blue waiting outside on line. But they usually defrost right away when they come in.

That is so crazy that your Sim decided to go on an adventure behind your back! 😅 I've never seen that happen. I would just continue the storyline, see where it leads.
The triplet situation is hilarious! While playing my Sim's boyfriend's house, so he could propose to her, I was surprised to return to her house and find they adopted a cat. 😳

I like this one. My Sim, Laci, had a crush on Sho, but he wanted to remain in the friend zone.
Well, if you're slow you lose out! Laci took Sho to a museum she wanted to see, and met the owner & his son.
Well, literally right behind Sho's back, he lost his chance.
