I don't mind the high boosts per se, considering how long time you spend in Uni - however as it's not that hard to advance in careers without Uni, it's kinda just for show. I would have loved at least some additions that included some deepening of Sims personalities as a reward for Uni. I playing a sim through university would make them more interesting and maybe get wants/fears or personality points, that would change the entire motivation for the pack. I'm really sad we're not getting anything useful, just a cosmetic change really.
