Eh, it’s sort of realistic. If you think of distinguished as like a Master’s degree.
For some perspective on what you get for spending a lot of the Young Adult state with aging on Standard at University and what you can access without that, starting at the beginning of being YA, here are the levels in the Education Career. Once it branches out, the jobs are university jobs in nature. The * marks levels you need a Standard, Honors, or Distinguished Honors degree for. Any other job you could hold while at university as well, so (with some planning or career cheats) you could be an Instructor, say, while still a student.

2 Teaching Assistant
3 Teacher
4 Mentor Teacher
5 Department Head
Administrator Branch
degree: Economics
*6 Student Services Officer
*7 Dean of Admissions
*8 Director of Academics
9 Vice-Chancellor
