In the Sims 3, there are a few items you can unlock for your career. They're hidden, and there are only a couple. Like the refrigerator for reaching the top of the culinary career or the mad scientist thingy that allows you to add moodlets to things. The actor's trailer and the directors chair are another two. That's fine. But having so many things be unlocks is silly. If you want to be a painter, if you want the best easel, you have to join a certain career branch? That just strikes me as silly and quite limiting.
