Unfortunately, everyone had an umbrella except him.
After he was finished selling holiday treats, he invited Mayumi out to dinner.

I thought maybe the restaurants would have grand meals on Winterfest. They didn't. But Kevin needs to learn some more gourmet food anyway.
Now it comes up on the very first social menu...

They concluded the night at the lounge. When they arrived, this amazingly dressed older lady was dancing her Christmas night away

Shortly followed by this gentleman.

He's not Father Winter, but he and the dancing lady made Kevin and Mayumi feel that they had been blessed with the presence of a Christmas elf and a Santa Claus on this night.

Kevin talked over his fears of death with the elf. She told him how she likes to find joy in every single day, and if you do that, then even the prospect of death isn't so scary. Kevin didn't completely understand, but she sure seemed joyful, and he did feel better.
